Patron saint:
Saint George was a martyr in Palestine who lived around 300 BC. Many details of his life are unknown. In the 12th century, a legend about Saint George arises, telling us that he saved a Lebanese princess by killing a dragon. Perhaps this legend stems from the myth of Perseus, who killed a sea creature near the site where Saint George was martyred. His feast day is commemorated annually on April 23. In our Academy, an image of Saint George is used as the official logo.

Academy Anthem
Long live, long live, long live
this staff of the Lord.
Long live, long live, long live
the school of our love.
The garden, where fragrant flowers grow
obedience, faith and honor.
As humble soldiers of Christ,
we follow the faith, we seek the light.
Along the enameled paths of science
where a Cross shines radiantly,
Two angels take us by the hands:
one the truth; the other, virtue.
Long live, long live, long live
this staff of the Lord.
Long live, long live, long live
the school of our love.
The garden, where fragrant flowers grow
obedience, faith and honor.
We long to redeem Borinquen
of error and vice too,
in homes that are reflections
from the purest home of Bethlehem.
Let's sing, let's sing our anthem
for the country, honor and faith.
Long live, long live, long live
this staff of the Lord.
Long live, long live, long live
the school of our love.
The garden, where fragrant flowers grow
obedience, faith and honor.
